About
👋 Hi, I’m Nate.
My tech journey started in the 90’s with a Packard Bell computer and Windows 3.1. What began as childhood curiosity - taking things apart to see how they worked - evolved into a lifelong interest in computer systems, software, networks, and the way people interact with technology.
After working for nearly two decades in the corporate technology world, I felt a drive to take a step back and pursue purpose-driven work that felt more personal. I founded Mundane Data to bring professional-grade support to my local community in Northern Colorado, focusing on individuals, small businesses, and nonprofits - my neighbors and local community.
Leaning on my experience across both hands-on and leadership roles at startups and large enterprises, I bring a versatile “swiss-army knife” skillset to Northern Colorado homes and businesses. My deep background in managing complex software development lifecycles and data infrastructure allows me to act as a strategic partner for small businesses, optimizing workflows, managing vendors, and automating mundane tasks with the rigor of a fractional CTO. Simultaneously, my foundational roots in IT support, troubleshooting, and security enable me to provide patient, judgment-free assistance to home users, whether that’s untangling a home network issue or securing personal devices and data against modern threats. I bridge the gap between complex enterprise technology and everyday needs, ensuring that technology is reliable, secure, and works for you, not against you.

Why “Mundane”?
The word “mundane” often gets a bad rap as meaning “boring,” but it also refers to the commonplace, the ordinary, and the everyday. Technology has become exactly that - an inextricable part of our daily existence. It is the “mundane” infrastructure of our lives.
When it works, we don’t notice it. When it breaks, life grinds to a halt. My goal is to help you find joy in the mundane. I believe your everyday technology should be so reliable and secure that it fades into the background, letting you focus on living your life or running your business.
My Philosophy
Whether I am helping a local business automate reports or a neighbor configure their new device, my approach is the same. I am driven by a passion to leave things better than I found them, approaching every job with patience and empathy. Technology can be frustrating, but the support you receive shouldn’t be.
